Parenting is a challenging yet rewarding experience that requires a lot of patience. The ideal family consists of both parents living in a home working together to provide and maintain a safe and stable environment that is conducive to their child’s development and well-being. However, today there are many single parent households.
Single Parenting: The Family in Harmony (2 volume series) focuses on the single parent family and offers tips on how to maintain a sense of self and become a better parent. It is essential that the single parent be a strong individual both mentally and physically. In addition, he or she must be financially stable. This program also offers guidance and encouragement. What made this program even more inspiring is that it also represents the single father, who is often not represented or supported in society.
I strongly recommend both programs be viewed in parenting classes because it focuses on single parent families both headed by males and females. The films offer advice about education, child care, employment, finance, quality time with your child and self preservation.
